Keep your storage system outside the closet report

Poshmark listing records help with titles, prices, and status, but your master sheet should also hold the purchase cost, internal SKU, and exact bin location. Put the SKU in the listing when practical and on the physical item so a sale notification leads to one unambiguous storage location.

Use separate active, sold, returned, and donated statuses. Removing a sold row destroys the sourcing and margin history that makes the sheet useful later.

Track offers and bundles without losing item-level margin

For a bundle, preserve one row per SKU and repeat the bundle order ID. Allocate shared discounts and order-level amounts with one documented method—for example, in proportion to each item’s sold value—so the sum of the item rows still matches the order.

Use the current order fee and package weight

Poshmark’s U.S. fee guidance says sales below $15 have a flat $2.95 fee and sales of $15 or more use a 20% fee. Record the actual order deduction because programs and policies can change, and keep any seller-paid shipping discount in a separate column.

Package weight deserves its own field. When an order needs a heavier-label upgrade, recording that cost separately makes it clear whether the item or bundle still met its margin target.
